Until we hit our 1000th OLF MEMBER!
I suspect it will be within the next 8 weeks, at our current rate of growth.

Hey Lance,
Welcome back;
to be serious again PATTY GRIFFIN-I am certain all persons will have to hold onto more than their sox. She's in Austin presently, recording her new CD. I smell a tour coming on!
Sorry about post. I thought would have to be taken as humor, but the written word is difficult to shape accurately.

Whoo hoo Lance, thanks for sharing that very first post with us!

Coincidently, i have started a thread in the off topic section, asking if something was organized for the reception of that 1000th member but it turned out to be rather light content if ya know what i mean!

So what are you and Brock planning if i may ask?

My money is on Serge making 5000 posts before we hit 1000 members!

I'll second that Colin!

The first post made just over 3 years ago! That is hard to believe.

Milestones are always great collective points of reflection and perspective.

I had a "conversation" recently with a forum member who's been here since OLF was but 6 or so guys talking guitar-shop.

The original members reflections of the OLF over the years would be a cool post, IMVHO.

Does it seem that long ago Lance?

Just goes to show what good moderation and interpretation can achieve, well done Lance.

You and the lads should be well pleased with your efforts and certainly deserve a heart felt thank you from members and sponsors alike.

Cheers and thanks

Kim

I always wondered who were the 'Founding Fathers'...   I know Lance, of course. JJ was there in the beginning as well... So, who else?Alain Desforges38963.2880787037
